Krysti Macrae - Managing Director

Krysti Macrae - Managing Director

Krysti MacRae commenced her career in 1993 as a receptionist and sales secretary in a local office. During the first few months of her employment a vacancy appeared within the property management department. Krysti was successful in gaining the position and then knew that this is where her interest lay. During the years Krysti became a fully accredited Property Manager with the Real Estate Institute of NSW and has held the position of Treasurer for the Northern Rivers Division. Krysti became a Director of Elders Alstonville, together with Troy, in 2002. As Managing Director, Krysti oversees the Property Management and Administration Department. She is the Commercial and Retail Property Manager for the company and looks after Business Development. Krysti says 18 years in Property Management has given her vast experience to ensure that Landlords receive a very high standard of service and skills that they require to protect their investment, secure their returns and free them from day to day worry. Krysti is extremely committed to providing excellence in customer service and works hard to ensure all members of the team share her commitment.

Troy MacRae - Sales Director

Troy MacRae - Sales Director

Troy MacRae has been a member of the Elders Alstonville Real Estate team since 1993. During that time Troy very successfully managed the Property Management Department and in 2003 made the decision to also assist vendors and purchasers in the selling and buying process. He became a Director of the company in 2002 and continues to be dedicated about promoting the industry in a positive manner. "That means being up front, honest and ensuring that myself and my team achieve great results for all our clients." Troy also believes that "service is the most important element in the real estate equation. Every day offers a different challenge. I love doing what I do, I love dealing with people and my aim is to provide a refreshingly different level of service."

Troy has received numerous top awards over the years and has been a member of the Elders Elite team since 2004.

He is a licensed real estate agent and has a business diploma in real estate management.

Tony Bennett - Property Consultant

Tony Bennett - Property Consultant

Born and raised in Bourke, New South Wales, Tony obtained a Bachelor of Science degree - Systems Agriculture.  From there he pursued a career as an Agronomist with various companies in western NSW before eventually returning to manage his family's irrigated cropping and livestock properties.  

In 2006, Tony, his wife and 4 children moved to Alstonville and in February 2007 joined the Elders Alstonville team as a Rural Property Consultant.  Tony believes in providing vendors and purchasers with a service based on honesty, communication and results.

Carol Mewing - Property Consultant

When it comes to Real Estate, there’s nothing more important than local knowledge. When it comes to Real Estate on the Alstonville/Wollongbar plateau, few people can compete with Carol Mewing. Born in Mullumbimby Carol has spent most of her life in Alstonville. She has been actively involved in the community throughout the years, contributing to the scouting movement and as a member of the foundation committee for the Alstonville Playgroup. Carol is also a member of the Alstonville/Wollongbar Chamber of Commerce and Alstonville Rotary. Carol and her husband Wayne have raised their 4 children in Alstonville believing it to be simply the best place to do so. 

Carol has worked very successfully in sales, marketing and the finance industry – all industries dependant on good client relationships. Carol says she wanted to work where her high standards and work ethic were matched by her employers. Elders Real Estate Alstonville are in the top 5 Elders regional offices in the country and Carol believes that this is due to their hard earned reputation for excellence. When only in her first year in her career, Carol achieved the prestigious quarterly award for the Top 5 regional consultants in the state. Carol has just recently attained the Half-Yearly award as No. 2 Sales Consultant for non-metropolitan offices for the whole of Northern NSW and Queensland. Brenda Kachel - Property Manager

Brenda Kachel - Property Manager

Brenda has been involved in the Property industry for over 25 years. Her career began in Tamworth as support to the Property Management team. After varied positions and moving all over the 3 eastern states, Brenda settled with her 3 children in Goonellabah in 2002. Her family has lived in the area for many years and Brenda says that having family support enables her to do what she loves and that is working with and meeting new people every day.

Brenda started her career with Elders Alstonville in 2003 as the receptionist. Her cheerful and helpful attitude towards clients together with her outstanding administration skills made her a very valuable asset to the company. Early in 2006 Brenda completed her studies in Property Practice making it possible for her to transfer to the Property Management Department where she has demonstrated that her diligent and attentive approach to clients exceeds expectations.

Carlos Garcia - Property Manager

Carlos Garcia - Property Manager

Carlos Garcia has over 6 years experience in Property Management and has joined Elders to replace Lea Sanders whilst she is on maternity leave. He has worked in Sydney, Armidale, Kyogle, and coastal northern NSW serving Landlords and Tenants. 

Carlos is very focused on his Property Management career and gaining knowledge on ways to provide more efficient services and increasing customer satisfaction. 

He lives in Alstonville with his family and believes in putting something back to the community which fits in very nicely with Elders Alstonville “Pay It Forward” program. Carlos works as a volunteer each Thursday night in the Lismore Soup Kitchen at the Winsome Hotel. 

He has a career ambition which he says he reminds himself of daily and that is to win the Real Estate Institute of NSW award for excellence in Property Management.

Lynne Ward - Administration Officer

Lynne Ward - Administration Officer

Lynne Ward moved from Sydney after twenty years of city commuting and is still bewitched by the beauty of the Northern Rivers. She possesses a Certificate III in Financial Services and has had many years experience in office administration in various industries. After successfully completing the NSW Course in Property Practice she knew that real estate was where she wanted to be. She commenced with Elders Alstonville in May 2008 as the Administration Officer and also acts as a personal assistant to the Managing Director. 

Lynne has been known as a high achiever throughout her working life, applying strong organisational skills and attention to detail to all tasks. She genuinely enjoys contact with people and has a sincere concern for the well being of clients. These are characteristics that assure that the day to day running of the office is in good hands.

Jacqui King - Sales Support

Jacqui undertakes the busy role of sales secretary and marketing support to our successful sales team. This includes newspaper advertising, brochures, signboards, the Internet and maintaining our window display. These roles require a fine attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines - all of which she handles impeccably.  Jacqui says she feels most satisfied when a Purchaser has obtained the home of their dreams and when Vendors achieve a price far beyond their expectations, through the aid of good organisation and marketing. She started with the company in 2002 after completing a Certificate III in Business Office Administration.

Rebekah Haverkamp - Receptionist

Rebekah Haverkamp is the friendly face you will see on the front desk whilst Jade Wynd is on maternity leave. 

Rebekah was raised in the Southern Highlands of NSW and moved to the Northern Rivers to complete her Bachelor of Business Degree. She started her career in retail and then moved to hospitality where customer relations are imperative to success, Rebekah quickly moved into management roles.

Approachable and vibrant, Rebekah's superb attention to detail, ability to relate to people and her courteous approach to all clients ensures that her position with Elders as the Receptionist will support the company’s focus on client service.
