WELCOME TO ELDERS REAL ESTATE EVERTON PARK

NO. 1 OFFICE IN QUEENSLAND & NO. 2 OFFICE IN AUSTRALIA!!!

Everton Park, about 8km from Brisbane's CBD, is an established suburb popular with a mix of residents including families and young couples.

The increasing demand for housing in the area has seen some unit and townhouse blocks replace older housing over the last few years. Popular with young and established families the area is also attracting young professionals looking for affordable housing close to the city (about 20 minutes from the city along Enoggera Road). How much can I borrow?

Much of Everton Park's popularity stems from its central location, good transport, and its access to shops and schools. Shopping centres in the area are Everton Plaza (featuring a medical centre, and Coles Supermarket), Stafford City Shopping Centre and the AMC Cinemas (10 minutes away), Brookside Shopping Centre (5 minutes away) and Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre (15 minutes away).

Mt Maria Junior and Senior Colleges, Hillbrook Anglican School, Northside Christian College, and McDowall primary school in neighbouring suburbs of Mitchelton, and McDowall supplement Everton Park primary and high schools, as does the Prince of Peace Lutheran primary school.

Teralba Park is a feature of the area providing plenty of room for outdoor activities and hosting the local Guides Association. Public transport in the area is good with regular bus routes servicing local shopping centres and going into the Brisbane CBD. Mitchelton, Gaythorne and Enoggera train stations are the closest to Everton Park and are approximately 5 to 10 minutes away.

One of the long gone landmarks of Everton Park is the horse and cattle watering trough, which once stood under an old grey gum at the intersection of South Pine Road and Stafford Road. The local bowls club has adopted it as their emblem.
