About Us
The Ravensthorpe Shire incorporates the towns of Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun and Munglinup.
Historically it was founded as a mining area in the late 1890s, but Agriculture is today the main industry.
We currently have three new mines opening up in the region - nickel, lithium and copper-gold and this is attracting new population and growth.
It is an exciting time for the Ravensthorpe Shire and we invite you to be a part of the next growth phase.
