Having made the transition from Corporate Information Technology to Real Estate in 2005, Steve demonstrates life long characteristics of commitment and absolute focus on the job in hand, which continues to deliver the very best results that he possibly can in the ever changing Jimboomba real estate market. He demonstrates a structured and organised approach to selling, underpinned by a high level of communication, which he believes is paramount to building trust with his many clients. As Steve says “it’s a tired cliché I know, but I firmly believe you should treat people the way you would want to be treated yourself - we are in a people business, and our product happens to be Real Estate”. Married to Julie with two young children, they took the decision to open Elders Real Estate Jimboomba in 2008 at a time of significant uncertainty in the real estate market. However as Steve says “having worked with Elders at Browns Plains for over a year before hand, I understood the technical advantages that an Elders Office could provide, and this coupled with an absolute belief in the future of the Jimboomba area, made it a very easy decision”. Since opening Elders Jimboomba, they have strengthened their market position yet further and are excited about their plans for this year and indeed the years ahead “Jimboomba has a bright future and we intend to be part of it for a long, long time to come”.

Julie Hodgson - Principal

Like husband Steve, Julie has also made the transition from the world of Corporate Information Technology to Real Estate and is joint principal and licensee for the Jimboomba Office.

Julie’s focus is on the financial aspects of the business, which in real terms means that she is working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of the office, as well as keeping up to date with legal and legislative requirements. With this in mind, Julie keeps in contact with REIQ to ensure that we meet their selection criteria and hence allow us to proudly display the REIQ approved office logo, each year.

Introducing Jeff Bodel.

Following an extensive 25 year career in retail sales and business management, Jeff has come to Elders Jimboomba with a commitment to customer service of the highest standards. He believes you should treat people the way you like to be treated and building trust is essential in providing outstanding results!

During his sales career, he has received numerous awards for customer service and sales achievements in the areas of financial and retirement planning, personal finance and insurance. Jeff’s high levels of communication and negotiation skills have seen him build successful client relationships to maximise outcomes for his customers.

Married to wife Jo for 33 years and a Mt Lindesay Highway resident for over 21 years, Jeff is a keen supporter of the local community where his 6 children have grown up and attended both Primary and High schools in the area.

Andrew has made the transition to Real Estate after managing professional team's providing services to the financial, legal and government sectors. He has a strong passion for the Real Estate industry, local development planning, and watches the Jimboomba real estate market with a keen interest. Andrew has also previously worked in the DIY industry, and enjoys undertaking renovation projects.
Married with six young children, Andrew has experienced not only buying and selling houses, but has also navigated the building process more recently in Jimboomba where he has established his family home. He understands the advantages and challenges facing families when buying both established houses and the Australian dream of building a family home.

Brogan Duff - Sales Administrator

Introducing Brogan Duff
 
A local girl born and educated in Beaudesert, Brogan originally joined the Elders group through a school based traineeship in 2008 at Browns Plains. Two years later in 2010, she seized the opportunity to join the team at Elders Jimboomba, bringing with her an enthusiasm and commitment to the job in hand, under pinned by a level of maturity and common sense far in excess of her relatively young age.  For many, Brogan will be their first point of contact with the team here at Jimboomba.

Brogan has a multi facet role here in the office, supporting the sales team on our state of the art computer based systems, co-ordinating advertising, supporting traditional paper based systems including mail and banking, and dealing with all in-bound enquires, be it by email, phone or walk-in customers.

Our sellers will also receive regular contact from Brogan as she co-ordinates open home or inspection appointments as part of the marketing process driven by the sales team. If she has a spare moment after all that, then she may well find herself dealing with a “special project” for our licensee Julie Hodgson. Brogan’s keen sense of humour and her “can do attitude” ensure the continued smooth operation of Elders internal systems.
