Jamie Brien, owner and operator of Elders Maclean, started his career working for Elders Head Office in Adelaide. From there he continued to work for various Elders Branches in South Australia selling Real Estate, Stock and General Merchandise.
Jamie moved to the Clarence Valley in 1986 where he put real estate on hold to work in the hospitality industry. Working at Roches Family Hotel in Grafton NSW he has gained over twenty (20) years’ experience of managing and directing the Hotel. During this time he was an Active Member of the Australian Hotel Association (AHA), where he held the position of President, Secretary and Treasurer representing the Clarence Valley Area. Jamie also represented 43 Hotels on the AHA’s State Board as delegate from 1999-2007.
Having that strong background in hospitality, Jamie understands the importance of quality customer service and is committed to delivering clients and customers efficient and effective service.
Jamie has a keen interest in horse racing where he served on the Clarence River Jockey Club (CRJC) Board of Directors for four years. He is also a keen fisherman and loves boating, who takes full advantage of the magnificent Clarence River.
