The history of Innering dates back to the Darling Family from the Darling Downs in Queensland, they held some (65,000 acres) 26,300 hectares in Carnamah before the First World War. After the war it became known as "Soldiers Settlements" properties and was acquired by the war veterans.
The picturesque undulating property of "Innering" presents as a pristine and cared for farm. Over the last eight years the owners Chris & Ian Lucas have diligently rehabilitated the farm back to its original vegetation.
The vegetation consists of Salmon Gum, York Gum, Gimlet, Paperbark and She Oaks.
Some 200,000 trees have been planted with over an 80% successful germination rate, quite astounding.
They have been strategically planted all over the property, ie along creek lines, fence lines and possible threatened salt encroachment areas and water points.
"Innering" has an excellent fertiliser/yield history all documented and recorded by a recognized agronomist, available for perusal for potential buyers.
The property mainly consists of heavy to medium soils, creating high yielding averages aided by the average rainfall of 300 to 360 mL per year.
All cropping areas are compatible and workable for large machinery which may be required.
The quality water of two bores one at a depth of 40m, the other 60m, backed up by a 5,000 cubic metre dam thus providing a plentiful water supply.
The revegetation has enhanced the farm of "Innering" maintaining the ability to produce high yielding cereal crops, with sound fencing providing further opportunity for grazing throughout the six fenced paddocks.
