Elders Real Estate Continues Its Give It Christmas Appeal for the Third Year

As the festive season approaches, Elders Real Estate is once again rallying its national network to spread joy through the Give It Christmas Appeal. Now in its third year, this initiative invites offices in all corners of Australia to partner with local charities and provide meaningful support to those who need it most.

The appeal is a celebration of generosity and connection, and each office is encouraged to tailor its efforts to the needs of its local community, ensuring maximum impact.

Last year’s Christmas Appeal was a great success for the Parkes office in New South Wales, and the team is looking forward to taking part again this year.

Branch Manager Janna Flanagan said every year, the Appeal continues to grow, with more people getting involved and making generous donations.

“We have proudly supported this appeal since 2021, and it’s been wonderful to see the number of donated gifts grow significantly each year. We set up a Christmas tree in our office and provide a convenient drop-off point for anyone wanting to contribute a gift for the children,” Janna said.

“Christmas is all about giving, kindness, and community, so being part of something that makes a real difference for kids and families in need feels incredibly rewarding. It’s a simple but powerful way to spread love and hope during the festive season.

“We want to make sure no child goes without a special gift at Christmas time.”

Elders Real Estate Tablelands

In Far North Queensland, the Elders Real Estate Tablelands office supported the Give It Christmas Appeal last year, working alongside local charities Better Together and Echo. The team collected food donations at the office and held a stall at the Malanda Christmas Markets, inviting locals to drop off items and connect with cause.

Principal Michelle Raso said the office is looking forward to sharing the love in this year’s Appeal.

“We’re shifting our focus this year to bring some Christmas cheer to local aged care residents, and we’ll be collecting and delivering gifts to those who may otherwise spend the holidays without visitors or family,” Michelle said.

“Supporting our community is something we are very passionate about so giving back is at the heart of what we do, not just at Christmas but year-round. Wherever we can we try to support local charities, volunteer at community events and sponsor local sports clubs.

“Christmas should be a time of joy for everyone. Sadly, that’s not always the case; some families are doing it tough, and others spend the season alone. We believe that if everyone contributes just a little, we can make a meaningful difference for those who need it most.”

The Christmas Appeal is one part of Elders’ Give It portfolio, which covers a suite of donations and community partnerships. It also includes the Community Giving Project, run for the first time in 2024, which awards grants to rural and regional community organisations with long-term, sustainable impact. Registrations of interest in the Community Giving Project are now open, and applications will be accepted for the 2026 round in March.
